Terry Fitzgerald | Classic | Hot Buttered | Area Pin Single Fin
Description

Terry Fitzgerald Stamp Of Authenticity | Original Hot Buttered Decals | Polished Gloss Finish | Fin Box or Glassed In Single Fin

Size Guide : 6'2" - 7'0"

"Having the opportunity to acquire one of Terry Fitzgerald's masterfully shaped foils,  I wanted to commission something truly special.  My great grandfather was an Arakwal Aboriginal  from Ballina and his tribal totem is the Green Sea Turtle.  I shared this with Martin Worthington and he envisioned this inspirational piece, bringing it to life through his unique ability as an artist and human being.  Thank you Martin and Kye (for you patience, understanding and professional attitude) for making this special project come to fruition."

"That be the board Terry shaped for me in 79 and the board Bobby Owens rode to victory during the Bells Trials in 1981.
I really liked surfing it ...back then. The idea was that it'd be like a 6'9" wing pin, but sans wings, so it came back to 6'5" as a pure pin.
I used to shift the fin around a bit I think?
Ride it on a good day’s and use that straight rocker to drive a long turn into the pocket or barrel. That's when it always felt best to me."
